This will be held from 9am – 4:30pm at the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver. Lunch and coffee will be provided!
This course is perfect for beginners, nonprofit professionals, or anyone looking to learn more about the grant application process! The content is an extrapolation of our more basic Introductory Course and will involve a deep-dive into supporting document preparation, goal and outcome development, detailed examples of successful applications, and more. We will cover everything you need to know to help an organization prepare and apply for grant funding. Here are some of the topics that will be addressed:
The basic elements of all grant applications
What your organization needs to have prepared prior to pursuing grant funding
How to make the strongest case for your organization through your supporting documents
How to research grant opportunities that are a good fit
How to write a compelling narrative
How to write effective goals and outcomes
Individual work addressing specific issues or questions regarding your organization or situation
Attendees of this workshop will learn more about grant writing alongside peers in the industry and from the Co-Founders of Denver Grant Writers. Group pricing is available for organizations looking to send staff to this professional development opportunity.
